The Whiffenpoofs are coming up on their 115th anniversary, and we’ve been reflecting on what it means to be part of such a privileged and established organization, and how we can give back. To that end, we often perform at schools that would not be able to afford the Whiffenpoofs at our standard rate. Pro bono performances by the Whiffenpoofs can inspire kids to think big — to pursue singing and to seek education at the highest level. Friends of the Whiffenpoofs enable us to to seek out these pro bono opportunities.

Additionally, the Whiffenpoofs receive no funding from Yale. We are an entirely self-funded group, using the money we make from ticket sales and private performances to fund our travels. Your contributions enable the Whiffenpoofs to make music around the world.
